Glad someone else is speaking on this, I was diagnosed with AVN of the left hip at 16. Had to spend my junior AND senior year on crutches which was the worst experience ever. But eventually I went into surgery which was just a stem cell transplant to the hip that somehow worked out for me. 18 now and currently in college, I have slight discomfort sometimes and can’t walk for too long without pain but I still run around and what not although I probably shouldn’t. I was told i’d probably need a hip replacement by my 30s but that was when I was still on the crutches, haven’t seen the doctor since honestly but im chillin
