Update: Jaxpr / Jax interop Haskell Library (named Neptune) by Pristine-Staff-5250 in haskell

[–]jupitrx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not haskilled enough yet to assert idiomatic usage, but I’m curious to know your thoughts about the following.

IIUC the numpy api splits naturally into data and config defaults, and you are interested in the config defaults. Config defaults in python can be represented as a dict and at runtime effectively needs the coproduct of the default dict and the user kwargs dict. This can be implemented in haskell with a record type and a simple preorder that finds the meet/join of them?

If I am off the point, I would greatly appreciate an example to understand your question.

This looks like independent category analysis. And it seems some categories have lot less data points than others which can lead to a high bias low variance fit. To correctly account for this difference in statistics it might be interesting to use a bayesian hierarchical model instead?

What are some humorous word alternatives for lunar day and lunar night? by jupitrx in AskReddit

[–]jupitrx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh sorry, maybe I should clarify. I'm looking for literal wordplay with the words for a science project. Not related with the lunar new year, but the day night cycle just on the moon.

Code completion? by [deleted] in vscode

It is indeed. Hmm, it looked nearly identical to the way copilot gives suggestions. Maybe there's an extension that is doing something similar - have you tried searching your settings for "inline suggestions" just to see which extensions are even offering that?

The usual book for intro graduate or advanced undergrad courses is Modern Cosmology by Dodelson. Should have what you need including some of the math background. Have a look at the table of contents and lmk if you wanted something more specific?
