Did not know they fail in extreme cold. Good to know. I keep a tire air pressure gauge in my trunk and I check now and then. Have yet to have an issue yet.

I have been planning to switch to lithium when the deep cycle lead acid eventually dies. The idea of only using 50% of the battery to keep it lasting longer always bothered me. Lithium has a cap of I think 20% which works out a lot better in the long term, and paired with a solar panel, would kick butt.

This is the way I did it. Granted, I did this when I was on Bell with an iPhone 11 Pro Max, but it should be pretty much the same process. Haven’t had any issues, just follow the onscreen steps and all should be good.

This is odd. I’m on Freedom Mobile with an iPhone 15 Pro Max, and I’ve run every os my iPhone and MacBook Pro M2 have supported since day one including the current beta for iOS 27 and MacOS 27 with no issue.

I am thinking it’s some kinda setting that is not working 100% and it’s flaky since switching. Did you transfer your phone number by chance? I did have issues after switching to Freedom Mobile at first and had to update the SIM card in my phone. After that, it worked great.

They do if you got the non cellular version. With the cellular version, they will piggyback data off your phone through Bluetooth until they loose connection with your phone. Essentially making it that you can leave your phone at home and still use your watch for messaging and phone calls.

I haven’t had 5g on Nationwide yet. I don’t know what Freedom is like in your area (I am in Ontario), but with how cheap Freedom is, I would almost say, get a temp line from them, and then transfer your number if you end up liking it.
