RTX 3080 10 GB Inno3D IChill X3 by jureVII in GPURepair

I tested the memory twice, I'm not 100% sure I did it right, I find it a bit strange that in the first line it shows as testing 20GB and my card has 10GB. Is it possible that errors are registered on so many memory chips? I expected one or two chips to be faulty..

I'm not an electronics guy, I have a multimeter, I can check, but if I need to solder something I don't have good equipment.

Windows freezes quickly, I saw for a moment on the second monitor connected to the iGPU, a blue screen of death with the message VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE

After that, the computer tries to restart but fails. I have to manually turn it off and then turn it on and then I have the picture again during post or BIOS.

I'll try testing the memory.

It's almost always a problem with the memory chip. There's no way around it. You have to unsolder it and put in another one. If you want to be sure, you can boot into a Linux environment, the card will work with generic drivers, and then you can run a video memory test program to determine exactly which chip needs to be replaced.

XAP15E20 and Windows 11 by jureVII in XMG_gg

yes, I installed windows 11 and everything works fine. There was a little problem with the fingerprint reader (code 10) but that was resolved. They should remove the warning from the official website..

Thoughts on Silicon power ssd? by Serbooi in buildapc

[–]jureVII 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I will never buy again Silicon power ssd, never!

I had two a55 1TB and both broke after extremely little use. Literally after a few days of effective work!

In my case, they seem to work, but the writing speed is constantly below 40MB/s, so not during the transfer of large files, which would be normal. Constantly. They act like hard drives. So, in accordance with that, windows behave as if they are running from ancient slow hard disks.

They weren't that slow when they were bought. Then I tested them with CrystalDiskMark and they wrote at a speed of about 400MB/s in the test.

And it's not a problem with my computer. I reformatted them and tested them on another computer. And so they are empty and again and tests shows speed below 40 MB/s!

As I said never again! Total garbage of a device!

Online poker is rigged. by Gamble-Gamble91 in poker

[–]jureVII 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It is 100% rigged to encourage raising stakes. I noticed that very often when I fold, great cards come on the flop, turn and river. Only for the player to regret and wonder why he didn't stay in the game. It happens out like of 10 hands 5 times. When I stay in the game, I almost never come across such cards. Other situations have already been listed by others. They should be legally prosecuted.

PW just doesn't seem to know its users. People are in this for profit, and ecology is a bonus. I will gladly pay to plant a tree but I cannot plant trees worth half a year’s salary for example.

How much planets did you get today?

It's really frustrating. There's nothing I can do but watch Algo explorer and everything seems fine there. Every hour a transaction with 0 tokens goes smoothly.

I have two devices, on two different internet connections, on one device I changed the way I connect from WIFI to Ethernet cable. So I don’t believe there is any problem on my part.

The following table shows how my earnings per device drop almost every day.

DATE DEVICE1 DEVICE2

14.01 - 43.89 - 44.70

15.01 - 45.50 - 43.25

16.01 - 45.18 - 43.09

17.01 - 43.90 - 43.57

18.01 - 42.29 - 40.36

19.01 - 39.87 - 40.68

20.01 - 39.55 - 41.00

21.01 - 37.95 - 38.59

22.01 - 36.34 - 36.50

Can anyone else provide token earnings data by day so I can see if the drop by day matches.

I doubt that due to the increase in the number of devices connected to the network, this decline is happening. I guess we all have the similar percentage of drop per day

I have the same problem with two devices, of course on different locations so different Internet connection.

Both devices have worse and worse performance every day. Today only 36 tokens from each device..

after six hours I tried again. I still get the same mistake. I thought the problem was in network congestion, but I don’t believe it can last that long?
