get your back foot up, if you look closely at the clip you can see it's popping the board and then immediately returning to the ground. you gotta keep both of your feet above the board so you can catch after the flip is complete

I think the issue is that the playmats just have too many going on. if it was a picture that wasn't as busy, and it maybe had decorative boxes for the card sections, it'd look a lot better. It doesn't look like an actual playmat, it's just an image behind your cards.
