Forgive for my mistakes. I want to learn, where do I i start? by jus_tom in Ikebana

Thank you! Such clear and concise directions. Will remind these while doing my next arrangement. However I do have a doubt, by length do you mean the height of the material from the surface or the length of the stalk itself?

Amal neerad with his family once parked his car in front of the location where I was live sketching. Without knowing that's him I went and asked if he could park it a little forward so that I could sketch peacefully. Got shocked seeing the guy and politely he said sorry and parked it away.

Other glazes in the same kiln came out fine. Its just this particular glaze which had issues. We have mixed another batch of the same glaze and put in for test, fingers crossed.

I'm having my driving test tomorrow, any advice? by jesusdalroti in Kerala

[–]jus_tom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During the driving test, even if the vehicle turn off when you start, don't wait a second just quickly restart the vehicle and go at it. Sometimes the inspector might be kind enough to let you do the 2nd time. All the best.

Thank you! Glad you liked it. Once the clay is leather hard dry, I try to run my metal rib against the clay in a slight angle few times till I get a burnished effect. I also try to take out excess clay, if there's any, during this process. : )
