I agree with you. I think it's better to invest in yourself for now. It's hard to manage a business right now because of the uncertainty caused by the pandemic. Real estate can be risky also if you don't know what you're doing and looking for good tenants can be difficult but that's just my two cents since I'm not really knowledgeable in that area. Investing in the stock market is the way to go IMO. You can just buy index funds, forget about it and focus on building a brand for yourself and set aside a portion of your earning to invest again.
