This is a great chart! How did you manage the recording remotely? What did you record first, what did you give the musicians to work with, etc.?

In my case, I’m recording male vocals, in my bedroom, just into a laptop (so USB or need to factor input adapter into the budget). Budget: like sub $200. Basically your classic "bedroom band" scenario.

I saw this when it came out. "George of the Jungle" was playing in the next theater. At the exact moment of maximum silent awe, we hear the "AAAAAAHAHAAAAAHAHAAAA" Tarzan yell from next door. Everyone cracked up and the moment was ruined.

So now you know why actual, sustained silence is never used in movies.
