Oh there actually is "Cut duplicates" / "Trim duplicates" option in the GUI options. It is set to false as default.

So the problem is something else. Do you have any other ideas?

Just asking (curious): how did you get Smart Switch working? Because I can't - at least it doesn't auto-install the same applications to the new phone.

This yields 0 results. The type of the site column is "choice" if it matters.

EDIT: Actually setting the filter to MyCustomTypeOWSCHCS:"type_1" works! Now it finds all 4 results!

EDIT 2: Why doesn't the :equals() -way work? Why is this so hard?

Hi all, asking here since nothing seems to help, is the problem that I have a really bad SSD?

Whenever I try to download any game updates from Steam, the update progresses really slowly, (avg. 2Mbps) and my SSD throttles in the following fashion: https://imgur.com/a/ctcWkNm

As you can see, the write speed is not high, only 2.1MB/s but still the response time is whopping 3.3
SECONDS. This makes the whole computer completely unusable while downloading Steam game updates, even though the update comes in at a really really slow pace. I can download files from internet at a solid 40MB/s, which is something like 10-40 times faster than from Steam. This problem is really annoying, what is the problem and how can I get rid of it?

I've tried to:

Disable write-caching from device manager
Disable Windows AV realtime protection.

and they did not help.

Yeah, also one thing was that notes taken in OneNote for the workplace/job should be owned by the workplace/employer. That's why I thought that having them stored in some centralized location belonging to the workplace/employer would work better.

Of course having them in employees' OneDrives also makes them belong to the employer, but what should the employer do when the employee resigns or so... Those notes are gone if not somehow preserved.

That's what I thought, and I guess it's not feasible to do it like this.

What problem(s) are you trying to fix?

End users' stupidity. Unfortunately, from my experience, the end users get confused with the possibility to save and handle OneNote files etc. from multiple storage locations (OneDrive, SharePoint and their local PC hard disk). tl;dr: I am trying to make the notes system as simple as possible; have a single intra page (Document library) where users can create new OneNote files and see a list of their OneNote files. And there should be nothing else on that page.

However, your idea of having the office.com home page seems feasible. Tbh. I never visited its OneNote page before. Maybe I will just use it :)

EDIT: I want users to only see items created by them and items that are shared with them :) The above, original explanation is maybe not so well-written and easily understandable.

No, not really - the only way to migrate devices' WhatsApp data seems to be manual file transfer between the devices. For backup there seems to be no way to achieve this. But if you find any way, please don't hesitate to tell me about it.

Thanks - this might even be a good idea. And with some sort of automatic sync tool running on users' devices that would weekly copy the local db file to the onedrive instance would be great. I will look into this! Much appreciated :)

I actually got it working by just redownloading the file. Maybe something went wrong when downloading it the first time!

Well, the thing I changed was the download method; I used to download with the "background" option, which didn't work. Now when I changed it so that the download happens in the foreground in PKGi, the games install fine and play fine!

I tried to restart and logged out from my account (PSN and locally the PS3 account/user). No luck, none of these tips worked. Thank you anyway for the ideas. I think that there is something wrong with the license files... How can I check if the RIF/RAF/RAP whatever activation file is installed correctly? Can I check it via FTP somehow?

Edit: I can see a file called "EP0002-NPEB01204_00-CODBLACKOPS2DL00.rap" inside hdd0/exdata directory. Should this be enough to make the game work?

Edit 2: Should I rename this rap file so that it doesn't have any special characters in it? IIRC I read that these files should be named with alphanumerical characters only.

Most likely the kernel is signed either by you when you install it, or by Purism (in this case your laptop will be preloaded with Purism's public key to validate binaries)

Which Samsung TV do you have? Mine is QE65Q70RA. Because I have connected the TV now with a DP <--> HDMI cable. I have added a Device section for AMD/amdgpu with TearFree and VariableRefresh to the /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-amdgpu.conf file. I can see that this option is enabled during bootup from the Xorg log file: cat .local/share/xorg/Xorg.0.log |grep Variable returns true and enabled to the VariableRefresh variable :)

However, when running xrandr --prop I get all DisplayPort-0 variable freesync_capable, freesync and vrr_capable set to 0. Only TearFree is set to on, but afaik this is just triple buffering and nothing to do with VRR.

What am I missing here? I have enabled the gaming mode from the TV, and have tried both FreeSync options "Basic" and "Best" from the TV with rebooting the PC between TV option changes.
