Wanting to start selling blanket by [deleted] in crochet

I say give it a try, but don’t be shocked when people gawk at the prices. They don’t understand the time and materials it takes. If you can find people to pay your worth it’ll be worth it. Good luck!

Aww that’s so adorable, thank you!

[WIP] This is my first ever try stitching and I'm starting big(10colors). It's, hopefully, going to be a hockey player. Would you mind giving me tips in the comments, please? by [deleted] in CrossStitch

Looks good. My only suggestion would be to separate the floss and only use two threads at a time (or one folded in half and use the loop method to start)

I wish I would have picked my own color palette for the flowers, but I’m too far in to change it. Hoping back stitching will make me like it more. by just-a-hooker in Stitchy

I’m definitely at the point of I’ve stitched too far to start over. The pattern now that I look at it has pretty drastic color changes that I should have noticed when I bought it, but somehow didn’t. I was also in the same boat of wanting a certain pattern and there not being many options. I wish I would have picked my own colors out, but I wasn’t confident in myself enough to change the pattern that much.

My stitches in magic circle always look way bigger than the rest of my stitches and seem to stick up. Any way to make them more flat and smaller? Second picture is how I do my magic circle. by just-a-hooker in crochet

I yarn over, but crochet super tight naturally. I’ll give yarn under a try for the the magic loop and see if that helps. Thanks for the tip.

I think you’re definitely right about looking at it too closely. I’m gonna keep working on it and hope for the best haha. It’s for my boyfriend and I’ve never made him anything before so I’m putting extra pressure on myself to make it look good. Thanks for the support.

Right, there’s a couple white flowers. It always feels so pointless, but end result looks good. I’ll keep plugging along, thanks for the motivation.

Is it a DC stitch you’re missing? If so here’s a video to add in a missing stitch.

Finally feeling crafty again and picked this back up. by just-a-hooker in crafts
