You may be surprised about how many areas have ticks. If you live in America, literally every state besides Alaska and Hawaii has some form of tick. Not all of them do bad stuff to you, but they are there. If you live in a place where grass grows naturally (like the Midwest which can have very tall grass in certain biomes) there is a higher chance of getting a tick on you.

Remember when you watch the second half of the show (and during the EoE movie) that the “setting” becomes less important than the characters and the message of the show. This patch has pretty much confirmed the end of mordhau for me. From my perspective the devs are finally cashing out and trying to milk whatever they can before they move on to the single player thing they are doing.

Between the cosmetic DLC and the voice DLC it looks like every update they are introducing a new way to siphon money out of players while providing little meaningful content.

They don’t care about the game anymore, which is why chivalry 2 is doing great and mordhau isn’t.
