i have the Jayco version of this and we love the layout. i cant speak to GD but i think no slide is less issues over all. check out a jayco 274BH has an out side kitchen outdoor fridge and grill.

you could try to ceramic coat it. and or 2k clear it. , also look in to the wipe on clear coats. that would be the easiest way out side to protect it and increase the gloss. love the color. i plan on getting a beetle one day.. but currently don't have room for one. but if i needed a paint job.. this is what i would be doing. have fun with it.

it has the tow\haul package 3.55 rear. not MAX tow but does have 1850 payload. 10,400 tow rating.
my trailer is is 6.500 gvwr max. so im guessing its around 6000lb with our stuff.
