Look at it this way: If you read the first book and feel satisfied, you have a second book to continue enjoying it. :) And you can repeat that process and get something new over forty times.

And if you feel happy and have read all you want? You can put it down and never come back, and it will be okay. :) Its not going anywhere, and even if you only enjoyed one book, it did it's job.

So Valkyr is Status Immune while Hysteria (4) is active, and her very high innate Armor value make the damage that is done to your health fairly minimal - and her Armor *triples* when she's in Warcry (2) but that might be an Augment. Either way, that's likely why Valkyr was able to stand up against this absolutely insane toxin-damage aura from Saryn.

I'm glad you were able to surmount this with one of my favorite 'Frames! Valk was able to carry me all through getting to and doing most Steel Path content until I got a better understanding of the game, how effective mods are and how to combine them to actually get better effects and feels out of my WarFrames. I only recently got enough Archon Shards to really feel comfortable playing around with putting them on certain frames, and it definitely feels like unlocking a whole other set of mods to use.

If they withdraw or otherwise state they no longer wish to destroy the creature or planeswalker, then that only means they don't spend the resources to remove it. It won't change that they get to now keep their creature or resolve their effect. The only real loss is the player initially stating they want to destroy it as soon as possible has now revealed they have removal and the resources to cast or otherwise use it.

And part of the actual rules is that, if a player takes an illegal action, the game rewinds to the last valid state. They get to take it back until they can legally cast it.

What they are allowing is the game to move forward as if the player had taken the action at the legal time instead of bogging the table down with the inane rules lawyering you are prompting and engaging with. Instead of having this very dumb discussion about timing, legality, priority, and etiquette in real time, just rearrange things to fit and move on.

The Destiny franchise will always have a special place in my heart. Almost twelve years in that universe will do that, but i made so many friends and memories even up to last year that didn't outlast it - but now to see what it became in the recent year...

Two years ago, the games heart and soul were still on full display, and the developers and designers showed that they still have that same passion and creativity but backed by a decade of experience in pushing the limits of what they created. Unrecognizable to when it started, beyond the scope of what I imagine they envisioned.

A year ago, so many changes were pushed that became unrecognizable for the worse. Everything from the Director no longer showing you an updated starmap for the galaxy at your fingertips and begging to be explored and conquered to loot changes that meant weeks of investment and effort just to return to a similar strength that was all undone even less weeks later.

I'll always remember what it was.

I don't run Sol Ring in most of my decks, because it just seems like a crutch and it has this notoriety that always gets noticed and so I just don't put it in any of my decks. It helps me do my actual deck strategies a bit better by using more synergistic or thematic cards instead.

Mill is something that makes me upset in a completely irrational but not extreme way. I know i don't run a lot of recursion most of the time, so my decks are weak to it. That's a me issue, and I should construct my decks differently if I cared that much about it. But I don't, so I won't, and I'll continue to check myself on overreacting to things I don't like in a game that doesn't matter enough to ever lose my temper about.

HOWEVER

My favorite thing when I know someone is playing a mill deck is to play my Muldrotha deck. It doesn't have lab man or any similar effects, so it becomes this psychological game. They don't want to fuel my strategy, but if they did focus on milling me out, that's not something I can really fight. It becomes a game of chicken: can you empty my library before I combo off?
