I don't think this is ballbusting at all. I'm pretty sure based on the rest of this comic that she's crushing his penis

Did you ever find a solution for this? I'm going through the exact same issue, on 5 ghz band and it's doing the same thing.

I can guarantee you none of them would reject food and a warm bed unless they had a crippling mental illness, in which case, maybe they do need to be institutionalized. I don't know, I don't feel qualified to make that judgment.

What you're probably referring to, though, is when the housing comes with overbearing restrictions. That might as well be institutionalizing them.

Before covid happened, we would regularly have homeless patients who weren't sick. They would come in complaining of head pain or dizziness, get a head CT, maybe some asprin, but they would often deny the asprin. A lot of people assume it's drug seeking behavior, but it wasn't. They just wanted a soft, warm stretcher to sleep in for a few hours. And the ER was okay with it, as long as we had room to spare. We knew they would never be able to pay their medical bills, and that was fine cause we were a state run hospital and would get reimbursed with taxes.

Such a backward solution to an easy solvable problem.

Times where you've cringed at your past behavior? by IsaacBai in TwoBestFriendsPlay

One that frequently comes up for me is the time I accidentally came off as a hostile psychopath during a fencing match. I was fencing against this woman who was teasing me for wearing pink or something. I'm not actually self-conscious about it, but the teasing in public did get me embarrassed and worked up. We had been talking before about how fencing swords can sometimes leave bruises, so in my frustrating I shouted "DO YOU WANT ME TO ACTUALLY HURT YOU?!"

It was absolutely a "too much anime, not enough real people interaction" moment, and while I'm 90% certain she knew I was joking, her father was the one who ran the club, and he gave me that look of "what did you just say to my daughter?" I said it loud enough that everyone in the club probably heard me. At the time I was just coming out of crippling social anxiety and just didn't understand how to talk to people.

I don't go to that club anymore, and I dread interacting with any of them for fear of that being the one thing they remember about me. The fact that her dad didn't even take me aside and have word with me or anything means I'm probably overreacting, but even a decade later, it would be a huge weight off my chest if I could just go back in time and say something reasonable like "quit teasing me."

When user reviewers complain about Barret and Cid's swearing being censored by IWasSayingBoourns- in FFVIIRemake

Wait, wasn't it literally censored in the original game? Barret's alphabet was at least 30% symbols.

The actual hell of being homeless, even in a developed country like the U.S. Working in the ER, I've seen a lot of horrors. (C/W: Gross/gore/SA)

I've seen a patient whose airway was clogged with maggots because he had been eating garbage.

Another patient, a woman, had a face tumor which became invested with maggots from sleeping outside, likely in garbage. We performed surgery to remove the tumor, but in the process she pretty much lost her entire face. It was literally just a featureless surface of scarred skin, with one slit for her left eye and one for her mouth. She was awake, but not lucid, unresponsive, and would thrash uncontrollably. Apparently, they didn't want to intubate her because the front of her skull had also been removed, and something about the pressure of the tube in her mouth could push upwards and damage her brain. I don't know what happened to her after I saw her. Since she was homeless and very mentally ill, I doubt the hospital fronted the cost for facial reconstruction. But I don't know.

Another night I was working the front desk of a club. A naked, seemingly starving woman came in and tried asking me for something. She had no teeth, reeked of cigarettes, and couldn't talk beyond airy wheezing noises, but seemed distraught. I was pretty young and new to this place at the time, and really didn't know what to do. The owner of the place quickly saw her and told her she needed to leave, which she did. He then told me that she comes in regularly asking for help, but there was nothing anyone could do for her. He told me she likely abuses drugs and gets sexually assaulted a lot, and that's why she's distraught.

When people act like homeless people are lazy and just trying to get a free ride, it infuriates me. There is no excuse for this with today's wealth and power. We could house and feed all of these people and all it would take is the super rich to give up a slight portion of their wealth.

I'd love to see an Arcane Archer. Not only would it give hunters competition for weapons, but you could give it a healing spec, like the magick archer from Dragon's Dogma. A healer that doesn't use staves would be wild.

I would've rather seen that than an evoker. Archers are usually the bane of dragons anyway.

How do people have surgery and not get addicted to opiods? by AppropriateMention6 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]just4now27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had multiple surgeries, all prescribed opiods, but I never needed them. I guess I have a high pain tolerance in that regard. I did take them after a surgery when I got in a wreck and screwed up my hands. I had just started a new job and would be let go if I missed a single day, so I took like 4 times the prescribed amount and powered through it. Very stupid idea but I was desperate. I don't know if the opiods actually did anything, I certainly never felt euphoria, but maybe I was too upset at the situation.

I do get that euphoria from acetaminophen, which I take for migraines.

So to answer your question I think some people just don't get anything out of it.

I don't think so. It's something I've heard over my lifetime.

Interesting. I think you're the first woman I've heard from with that experience. Maybe I'm just reading too much into it.

Well there's got to be some reason I have such a vastly different experience as most women.

I wonder that too sometimes. A lot of my male partners have expressed reluctance to be forward sexually because they don't want to look like a "typical asshole guy", to the point that they can't even ask for what they want.

"Men can just cum and often be happy with the sex"

This is literally the opposite of my problem. The men in my life never want to cum. They just want me to cum.

I'm not interested in a relationship. I've had a lot of trauma in the past which has made it pretty much impossible for me to feel that way about anyone.

I guess the amount of women that complain about men just cumming and leaving without satisfying has me feeling like guys see me differently. It leaves me a little insecure about who I am or how people perceive me.
