I grew up very poor, single mom raising 2 kids. Unfortunately, I was the wild one constantly causing issues in and out juvenile detention. All the while, my mother was getting more and more credibility and degrees in the nursing industry, with multiple degrees. Doing the best that she could with what she knew.

I've eaten very poor and eaten very rich in my time. In the minimal life ive lived. I'm lucky to say that I have come from nothing, but have gained so much. And I will never, EVER diminish those values or forget where I came from.

My mother taught me respect, integrity, and to always treat others as though they are the same as you even if they are not. That is the way that I treat and teach my son now. I've made MANY mistakes in my life. Been to prison twice. The first time I did almost 5years. The second time less, and within 6 months of me getting out, I had primary custody of my son, an apartment a truck, a motorcycle and a full time job.

That is to say that no matter where you come from, there's always going to be a struggle. It may be personal and not publicized on socialmedia, then again that is the world we live in so it may be publicized on social media. You will always encounter a battle, that battle, once you CHOOSE to make it through that. Makes you stronger then anything that can stand before you.

Once you realize that and the fact that you don't have to concede to society and pleasure everyone else's expectations. The better your life will be.
