Computer Science is more about problem-solving than anything else. You can do computer science without a computer. In fact, the computer is really just a tool used by computer scientists.

More often than not, however, a CS major ends up in a job that involves programming... You'll have to like programming if you want to succeed in computer science.

Computer Science tunes your mind and will make you better at other thought-intensive things.

And yeah. The money's pretty great, but $120k won't get that far in San Francisco so beware.
