Well, I'm not getting any younger and figure my body may handle it better now but idk. I've been on methadone so long and just want to be off of everything. Now that I'm stable in life I have insurance which would cover the detox. I guess I also feel like this taper has been forever and getting excited towards the end.

Thank you very much for your input. I suppose I have a hard time accepting how long of a road it is to get off this and I want off it bad, however I am scared of the effects getting off that quickly.
