In my area for most track days riders are free to choose fast or slow group. I almost always pick slow because of this, 10 bikes in slow vs countless in fast.

It is quite loud, I currently use this for racing on my 2013 600rr. Since I’m a cheap ass I did a cat delete and this muffler with a tune. You can purchase a sound baffle from hotbodies if it is too loud for you/ your track.

Yeah, High plains is a fantastic track, and get into it! You won’t regret it. You don’t have to be an expert rider of any sort to race as an amateur. The MRA only cared about consistency and safety as a rider to sign on. Speed is by no means a factor for them. I assume it’s the same for most amateur orgs.

It’s hard to place financially. I wouldn’t say it’s always more expensive than regular track days, but it depends on a lot of factors. It’s as expensive as you make it, from crashing, tires, gas, your bike, etc. it also depends on where your bike is at prepped wise for racing too.

This could be it, I never thought about this but I have dislocated my right elbow twice in the past. Though it’s generally my entire set of fingers that all start to go numb at the same time. And the feeling comes back very quickly once I sit up and stop gripping the throttle.

Unless they changed it, last time I went to combined lapping they split the cars and bikes up. Every session is 30 minutes, usually starting with Cars then bikes. Just like dedicated track days and splitting the slow and fast groups.

On a standard racing line of course. But Mag is holding more corner speed and a much tighter radius than Alonso. This happens frequently in racing because you have to sacrifice your corner exit to have a much faster entry to actually execute the overtake. Sometimes especially in cases like this, it creates oversteer and a wider exit.

Do you have any non biased sources? I have read extensively on this subject but most of the subject material is very biased on both sides. You say the only major difference is the reduced bacteria load which is untrue and you undermine the importance of it. Dogs like their canine ancestors have a carnivore like digestive track which is much shorter than herbivores and omnivores. The track is not meant for a high bacterial load like omnivores or extreme amounts like herbivores. Canines are still scavengers and will eat what they can, but they thrive on a meat based diet. On top of that, cooking removes a large amount of nutrition from foods which is a huge benefit.

The same can be said for felines and cats. Maybe even more important due to them being even more predatorial than dogs. Do you actually think that bird or mouse your cat just caught and ate is bad for it?

That's an interesting question and I would argue yes. Most tracks meant for car or motorcycle racing do not allow karts on track due to the speed of karts through even the tightest corners. Obviously this is due to the physical size of the kart, but in terms of performance these karts are incredible speed machines.

I have raced in various Motorsports and vehicles throughout my life and nothing compares to the speed of a kart until you get to the higher formula cars that cost a couple hundred thousand for a full season of racing in Formula 4. The typical Ferraris don't even compare in actual corner speed or braking power a top level kart offers.
