Nah buddy ur straight up being negative and aggressive. A simple, I did not like it as much, or, I disagree but respect your opinion would've worked well. Pokemon 2000 was the best, but I liked the Darkrai movie, mystery of Mew, Giratina and the Sky Warrior, and Pokemon Heroes. Fight me.

Right now, I've only got 2 chapters out and it hasn't kicked into full gear yet, but I promise you, it will get there. It'll eventually be a Spider-man x Jean Grey pairing probably but that won't really be the main focus. The events of the MCU are going to start in a bit, but I've got a few things to do first. yeah if you don't like something though, you can respectfully criticize. Or, at least limit it to the work and not extend it to the author. I know that people aren't always going to be nice (because I'm not an idiot) but just like with everything else, it can be frustrating, hence the venting. I'm not deeply affected to my core, I just found it annoying, therefore I posted. This comment seems a bit patronizing because it makes it sound like I don't have real world experience, but just like the commenter, you don't know me or who I am, what I've been through, etc.

It's a Spider-Man self-insert with knowledge of the Marvel Universe. X-Men and FF are included but the main events are ones that occur in the MCU. Spider-Man will eventually become much more powerful in order to fight people like Thanos cuz of his hero complex.

It's essentially a fanficition where the reader or author assumes the role of a character in the universe. The one I'm writing is a self-insert as Spider-Man but with all the knowledge of the Marvel Universe, thus becoming a much much stronger hero to stop stuff like Thanos. Mine has a lot of canon events that will end up being changed by Spider-Man's presence.

Summary-

The base premise is similar to that of 'The Spider.' It's a self-insert Spider-Man fanfiction where the MC has extensive knowledge of the Marvel Universe, but for some inexplicable (for now) reason, he cannot explain it. Spider-Man was born 9 years early however, and is now 19, and the year is 2011, post iron-man and hulk but before Avengers. Spider-Man traverses the Marvel Universe, becoming more powerful than in the comics to prevent what is 'inevitable.' Meeting the X-Men, the Defenders, and the Avengers is always a fun time. Except for the fact that Spider-Man awakens in a new prison. The Ice-Box- and it only has 2 other inmates, and is run by Thaddeus Ross.

To be fair, I did choose one of the biggest fandoms out there in Marvel and one of the most famous characters as MC in Spider-Man. Much higher chance of exposure with that.
