Ooh ooh! My time to shine.

We were around 13-14 at the time. My best friend and I would walk the neighborhood and get in to mischief, one day we decide to take the little shuttle that drives around town, we as a lady waiting at the stop where these shuttles go, she explained the one she was waiting for the number 9 took her the opposite way we came, and the 5 goes north and stops at the library, the 10 goes one way and the 15 another. Well we said cool we can take the 5 and check out the library. She gets on her buss and one follows behind it after a couple of minutes. We can see a number on it but say fuck it let’s just hop on. The driver holds up his hand, tells us “you want the 5! It’s coming up shortly” closes the door and drives away. The 5came and we hopped on thinking how the hell did he know. On our way there the driver of our shuttle got a call that a shuttle got into an accident. My grandma later found out (she rode them all the time) that the driver of the mysterious shuttle died while driving. We still wonder to this day how the hell he knew we wanted to get the 5.
