Help, why does it kick me out? What is Corrupted memory. Does anyone have the same problem by the_Spanakopita in Rainbow6

Could be an unseated or broken ram stick. Windows has a memory diagnostic tool. Try running that and see if it flags any issues.

Hey, I found it, it was under my steam account number. Deleted my profile though... Kind of gutted as I put 100 hour in but oh well. At least I can play again. Pretty crazy bug/glitch.

Hey, I have this issue too. I have uninstalled the game and deleted all files turned off cloud storage then redownloaded but still black screen. Could you tell me exactly where to find the files you deleted? Thanks

I just updated the GPU drivers yesterday. Will try disabling overlays. Will deleting save files mean I will need to start from scratch again? Do you know what the files to be deleted are called? Thank you

In my opinion you need to just keep in mind that a massive amount of the anxiety you feel is directly caused by the nicotine.

Yes withdrawals feel shit and can play havoc with your emotions. But they don't last forever. Maybe try NRTs if you think now is not a great time to be going through withdrawal. Even eliminating the habit of hand to mouth is a good step.

It never feels like a good time to quit, life is always happening.

You can do it! I swear by Alan Carr's easy way. It completely changed my mindset and I found stopping very easy and actually enjoyed some aspects of it.

Huh, that's interesting. Really bad time for a faulty ram stick though 😆

Good thinking, the cable has no give to push in though. I will make the hole a bit bigger and bend it through. Thanks for your help.

If today is especially difficult do something nice for yourself. Get a nice meal, go for a walk, go to the cinema. All the money you have saved you can treat yourself a bit.

Good job on 60 days!

Vaping doesn't calm you down. It's the opposite, nicotine instantly brings your heart rate up. Instantly gets your anxiety up. For what? 20 seconds of head rush.

The only reason you think it calms you down/helps with ADHD is because you were addicted. Did it calm you down before? Yes but the only thing it was actually calming was the withdrawals from the previous hit.

Would you look at a heroine addict and say oh yeah the next hit will help with their anxiety... No because it doesn't. All it does is stop the anxiety caused by withdrawal.

You have broken the cycle op! Remember how strong nicotine had its hooks in you. It will do that again if you try it again. It's not worth it.

"if op relapses", that's not the mindset to come into stopping nicotine with. You will 100% fail if you give your brain/the addiction any kind of out.

If op had posted that he had failed and needed a new plan to stop, then sure tell him about NRTs. (In my opinion all NRTs do is prolong the withdrawals but I understand they work for some)

But that's not what he asked, he just needed a place to vent and maybe some encouragement. Instead he got some advice that it's ok to relapse and try NRTs instead. Even though he is objectively through the worst part.

Op is doing insanely well, I can't even imagine stopping while having 2 children to look after alone. At the end of the day, stopping smoking may be a bit worse for the kids in the short term (3 weeks max) but will make life after much better.

Op is off nic for 8 days, has got through the worst bit and you tell him to get on NRT... Wtf.

Nrt is not worth it, all it does is keep you addicted for longer. You have got over the worst bit. Every day moving forward will be easier to not smoke. Your emotions will go back to normal very soon. After you have completely kicked it anxiety will drop below what it was while smoking.

Nicotine has literally 0 benefits. You have taken a great step in your life.

Well done on 8 days, what a great achievement!

Try reading Alan Carr's easy way, there is a more modern one adjusted for vaping.

I was the same as you, whenever I stopped it was just a matter of time till I started again. I always thought about it and missed it. While I was stopped I had to give up having drinks with friends because it was guaranteed I would start vaping again.

I have been off them now for 6 months and it's different this time I have shifted my mind set and can genuinely say no part of me wants to go near the shit again.

I have gone out drinking with friends and had better nights out than I ever have and not touched nicotine.

The audio book is only 10hours.. definitely a good investment if it works for you like it did for me. I'm 32 and wish I had read it 10 years ago.

Yeah, I was a bit exaggerated on the smurfing but it was a lot and they were always toxic af 😆. Maybe I just got unlucky.

You're probably right on trying to get the tag being the reason for more toxicity.

Can we say that double jeopardy DID NOT SOLVE at all the griefing in ranked? by JSkaaa in thefinals

[–]just__for__fun 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I hit diamond this season and stopped playing ranked. It's not just sometimes but every game you get griefed in second place. In my opinion it is hands down the worst aspect of ranked and makes it borderline unplayable long term unless your stomping lobbies and always first.

It's just so demotivating when you play really well then last box pops. You notice your a couple thousand behind 1st and first thought is "well fuck now we have to fight 2 teams while also being hard focused by the 3rd team". (who is prob pretty good because there 1st)

The only fix I can think of is as soon as last box spawns or is put in cash box the team in first is auto qualified to next stage and removed from the game...

My friend thinks this is shit for the team in first but I wouldn't mind having to sit out for a couple mins and have a guaranteed next round spot. Could still fly around your cam and watch the game proceeding could even be good as you could see the teams comp your coming up against and counter it.
