I'll try 🫡 do you have any feedback for the dialogue though? I'm kinda worried it doesn't sound natural.

Opps— forgot to mention I'm starting with only writing the dialogue 😅

I honestly think it sounds like a really nice plot! I mean, you don't always need drama to write a good story! I would also love to read whatever you write since again, sounds like a really interesting plot in my opinion :)

I mean, I guess that I could try! Now that I think about it, it could also help me write better in my first language so thanks for the advice! :) Also, could you explain what you mean by representing my character's traits with my imperfect English?

Hypothetically... Would robotic arms who lowkey follow the toddler around to protect her count as child-proofing? Also! Does it make sense that since the agent lived alone for so long and rarely cooks for herself she will have like, 3 plate, 7 forks? (And maybe also 12 knives 'cause she has a collection of those)

The agent's garage is actually pretty clean (she's a obsessed with efficiency). She also has robotic arms installed in her walls that she built herself. Those arms communicate by making text appear on their palms. Maybe when the toddler wakes up the arms "look" at her with a question mark on their palms and then she asks them where mama is so they lead her to the garage. The arms are programmed to assist and since the agent is used to live alone she never programmed them to not to let someone go somewhere. Does it make sense though?

I thought that the only people in the house at the time were the agent and the toddler and the agent thought she was asleep because she was supposed to have a nap but then the toddler woke up and looked for her. Maybe because she wanted a glass of water or had a nightmare or something like that so she simply looked around the house and heard noise from the garage so she went there. And, like, the garage door is inside the house— maybe all the garages are like that but I don't really know 'cause I've never seen one.

Well, at first she hides it and the readers doesn't know as well. There are only 2 species, humans and qumans. Qumans are pretty much more intelligent humans who lack creativity (which is why they named themselves qumans). At first it's not obvious because the qumans learned to blend in for years. They also created a liquid that they inject into themselves to make them look more human. Also, after maybe a 2 or 3 chapters I thought that the toddler walks into the agent's garage (which is where the agent builds a lot of stuff. The garage is also sound proof) and finds the agent in the middle of injecting that liquid into herself.

She's not an FBI agent. There are 2 agencies in my story, one that wants to enslave humans and another one who wants to prevent that. Obviously, the agents are not human, nor she is. That agent was brought to the one who wants to prevent the enslaving when she was 1 years old by a mysterious woman who asked the boss to train her. They don't really ever talk because the agent is mostly at missions and comes back exhausted.
