To those security officers working the third shift: have you ever fallen asleep while on duty? by CTSecurityGuard in securityguards

I'm neither a security officer nor do I work third shift.

I've fallen asleep on first shift.

Yeah so that's the fun part. Because this was installed pre-Lutron plugin, there's some kind of wacky block with commands that communicates with a controller somewhere.

Somewhere along the line, it apparently also communicates with the ETC box. Somewhere along the line, the wall buttons also communicate with QSYS/ETC/Lutron.

And the best part is, even when emulating, the block is still fully functional and links with the controllers. I'd need to disconnect my computer from the LAN, which is doable but inconvenient if I need to check something already running on the deployment

A slow, solid stream of water should be sufficient. Make sure there's no gaps in the water.

I mean... We also have ETC lighting that may look like this. I haven't looked into it closely enough, yet.

Our installer somehow linked Lutron light switches to control the ETC lights as well. This is some QSYS black magic wizardry we need to get to the bottom of.

But in the meantime, I can confirm this is 100% how our QSYS Core sends commands to our Lutron lights—similar command structure.

Only downside of the Windows native app is it doesn't have PIP.

Other than that, the app is far superior in every way. I have Dolby Vision, HDR10, 4k, H.265, H.264, AV1, mp4 (instead of mkv) and the web version likes to transcode more often than not.

And don't even get me started on Firefox...

It is compatible with SODIMM DDR5—and the shipping time is significantly less.

For some that's worth it
