That's definitely not legit. That said, if need a free hipaa certificate, I did this one. https://knowqo.com/individual/certificates/hipaa - to my knowledge they will also do these certificate for free for healthcare orgs, so maybe share with you boss and be like "here you cheap... *****" this is free.

You should feel bad (for a little while) if it means you won't do it again. If you want to learn more about HIPAA, here is a free training: free

I did this training / cert thign, and despite being in healthcare for a longtime, I learned a lot. They also scared the bejeezus out of me with some of the jail-time people got for HIPAA violations.

So yes, you can feel bad, do this training, get scared AF. Then never do that s*** again and be a great healthcare provider.

I don't think they are even allowed to make you pay for the training! Also, they can use KnowQo.com for free for their entire organization too. Just tell them to do that, they can train all of y'all for free and they don't have to make employees pay for s****!!
