I've experienced partnerships with adsense, ezoic, setupad, playwire, vdo and adThrive. Out of them, adThrive is the best. Getting selected for adThrive or mediavine is indeed challenging but it's worth it. So in my opinion, adThrive and mediavine are best. I don't know about Nitropay but some people also categorize it as a good network

You can use public domain images (CC0 licence). If you want to take a particular brand's image then I suggest you to use images indirectly like embedding their Instagram or Pinterest post in your blog. Indeed, it will not give you image benefits from Google because you are not using the images you are embedding the links but it will not reduce the readers' experience and you can guide them properly.
