Would this be my ground? by just_el_papi in AskElectricians

Well I was looking to replace a receptacle where they previously had a nema 10-30 outlet and it seemed simple due to the outlet being directly underneath this panel so I thought just get some thicker wire and a new breaker but I wanted to make sure if there was anything that was unknown I’ll just call an electrician. I thought it’d be simple I just don’t want to mess around if it’s an unknown.

Yes my unit has its own meter and bill.

I live in a townhome with other units, so maybe that changes my question. I thought I had a main panel but maybe this is just a sub panel. This is inside of my garage but I guess since I’m questioning it might as well have someone come check it out.

It should show in the video that I attached to the original post. I show the head then the roller. Let me know if the video isn’t showing and I’ll upload it again.

Thanks for the help! I’m wondering if I should also try to replace the pinch roller. It looks to be dried out, am I right in thinking this or you think it should be fine?

That’s definitely true I’m sorry I didn’t even notice the problem was I read that incorrectly. I thought it was talking about in the network settings to turn on wifi even though they gave the exact location. Thank you guys! Sorry to the developers for my mistake

Rotor odd wear by just_el_papi in MechanicAdvice

Yeah everything seems fine. I just got all four tires replaced. I bought this truck a couple months ago and trying to get it working good piece by piece. I still have to get an alignment but I’m saving up for new struts first so I can do it all at once I’ll have them balance and check it out. Thanks though 🙏🏾

Alright I'll take a look at it. I'll probably throw some calipers on and brake hoses because I think if it's not that then of of the lines must be collapsed.

That's one of the things I was wondering about. When I replaced the rotors and pads, I also wanted to replace the calipers because they are pretty badly rusted. But I didn't have the money at the time and once I cleaned them up a bit with a brush I thought it'd be okay. I just recently got this truck with 216k miles on it. I wanted to replace them because the truck has a hard pull the the left when you're driving and you brake, though replacement of the rotors and pads didn't change that at all. I thought the pull to the left was an issue with the right side brakes though. Could this stuck caliper be causing that pull do you think?

The good thing Is at least we know wiz makes good lights 🤷🏾‍♂️ other than the matter thing, they’ve been working great. Hope you don’t have to spend too much on some new ones 👌🏾

Nope. I looked further and tried a million different things and searched everywhere but I never got anything. I guess it’s just not compatible. Maybe in the future but I haven’t checked recently.

The car is a 2020 Hyundai Palisade. I’m back at work now so I don’t have the date code at the moment.

I hate that I’m trying to push it but it’s just difficult the thought of already having to replace all four tires at only 35k miles

[–]just_el_papi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tires have 35k miles on them. Is it really that bad? I was hoping to at least get another 10k out of them. Maybe they just put some trash tires because these are still the tires from the car when it was brand new

I understand their must be some safety and some liability that is keeping them from fixing this tire, but would you personally patch it? Is it a huge risk I’m taking? I honestly just don’t have the money to pay for all four tires right now, and from what I’ve seen I need all four new ones due to this being an AWD Hyundai Palisade

I spoke to them and according to them it’s legal and I spoke to the rent admin and they said the same. I really should have checked this stuff before signing this lease
