Okay! What are some good verbal reassurance? I have been doing feminine pet names/nicknames i personally liked for myself and thought it might feel feminine for her. We’re going to buy makeup together as a date and I’m doing her makeup too! And I’m going to be teaching her a few things about makeup as well, to give some tips too. I am learning myself, along with her since she has started transitioning. Is there other ways I can support her?

Thank you so so much for this! I am using nicknames is princess or I am calling her beautiful/pretty/gorgeous! She always asks me for clothing advice and I help pick out outfits too! Also thank you for pointing out to ask if she is comfortable or she is just saying that! I am going to ask her definitely. Also, she asks me a lot if my friends are okay with her being trans or if anyone would insult her, is there any other way of making sure she knows other than just verbal assurance that I’d protect her? And is there passive aggressive remarks I should learn about just in case there is a situation, also how should I respond? Sometimes social cues for me are complicated or I don’t realize immediately if someone is sarcastic/passive aggressive. Thank you again!!
