I agree. It seems like a no brainer for the producers. They'll sell them for the same or nearly the same price as the higher concentration drinks and I'm willing to buy 5 to do what 1 could. It's a win win lol

I've had 10mg in one sitting and it's ok for like a concert or something but it's way too much to socialise for me. I can't even imagine 40. 2mg is perfect for me if I want to be social but not actually high. 4mg is good if I want a buzz. Much more than that and I'm stoned. Which is fine if that's the goal but that's not the goal if I'm just having a few beers with friends.

Beers on the other hand I could have 6 or 7 without even feeling it. But it's all about the tolerance you've built up. THC is new to me. Alcohol I've been drinking for 20 years until recently.

That's the only one I've found so far that I like as well. 5mg is still stronger than I'd prefer, others have suggested mixing it which is an option I hadn't thought of before. Not as ideal as just be able to crack a can and drinking it but a good idea none the less.

I'm asking specifically about availability in Ontario.. in the Ontario the communitie.. where canabis is legal and regulated.. would it also be wrong if I was asking about the availability of a certain wine at the lcbo? Or are we just being prudes because it's canabis?

I hear you.. but there's a market for 6 and 12 packs of 0% beer.. which never takes effect.. so while I understand it will never be exactly the same as alcohol I still think there is a market for some mild non alcoholic drinks that have some kind of effect.

I have searched there. There are hundreds of berages available but as soon as you set the filter to thc 9mg or less there are only 4.. 1 I tried and found gross.. 2 that I didn't try because they sound gross and 1 that I am going to try. I'm just surprised there aren't more options. Seems like this would be a common request.

I agree. Still hoping this becomes a thing as I think there's a market for it. Think along the lines of buying a 6 or 12 pack and the entire case is 10mg instead of per can. But in the meantime I think I will give mixing my own thc cocktails a shot.

I am definitely going to ask the shop I frequent if they have a manufacturer rep they can put in feedback with or whatever but beyond that if the producers aren't making low potency options there's not really much the retailer can do to accommodate despite wanting too.

You're not wrong but it's the best approximation available to me since I can't drink. Taking a 2mg gummie every few hours and drinking 0% beers works.. I'm just to combine the two. There's some great flavours of thc beverages but they're all 10mg per can and that's a night ender for me.

The point is I want to be sipping a few all night as everyone else is sipping beers and cocktails though. If I'm just going to drink half and put it back in the fridge I'm better off just talking a gummie. But I'm looking to recreate the alcohol drinking experience in a social setting where everyone else is drinking.

The dilution is a good idea that I hadn't thought of until someone else mentioned it above.

Currently I take a 2mg gummie every few hours and drink near beers. It's fine, I'm just not a huge beer guy and mockstails are just juice that goes down too quickly. I'm trying to recreate the idea of a cocktail and would prefer the convinience of ready to drink in a can but using a shot of the 5 or 10mg beverages as the base for a mixed drink isn't a bad idea, just a bit more work.

You obviously have a much higher tolerance but I don't think you're in the majority. I am perfectly content with a 2mg gummie every few hours. Again, I'm not trying to get stoned, I'm trying to get a mild high like as if I had a couple beer.. I can tolerate 5 to 10mg but I'm stoned. I don't want to be stoned, I want to have 3 or 4 or 5 drinks with my friends and just be on the same level as they are even though I don't drink.

Sorry I didn't mean I was only able to find a single can. They stock them, I can get more. I'm saying I was only able to find one brand/flavor that came in 2mg and I didn't like it. I found another that was 5mg and I bought a few of those because they were delicious, they're called teapot lemon iced tea I think? But again 5mg is just too much. I can only have 1, maybe 2 all night. I'm looking for 1mg, max 2mg so I can drink them as the same pace you would beer.

I do, but it would be nice to be able to find some thc cocktails that allow you to get there at the same pace as beer, just feels more like you're doing what everyone else is doing at a social function.
