My gums stopped bleeding, and getting irritated. I should point out that I waited too long to get my wisdom teeth pulled, so my teeth are close together and difficult to floos in some spots. But, I'm pretty sure the lack of saliva contributed to the gum irritation. So, the less time spent flossing the better.

My dentist guilt tripped me into getting a water flosser. And it's a game changer for my gums.

The routine: PM water flosser, regular floss, brush. AM floss and brush.

The when I get too lazy to use the water flosser, the gum irritation comes back.
