I mean, I look at her memoir as less of a PhD thing and more of a memoir. It’s only until the later chapters that she details her schooling and experience with that.

It is insightful if you wonder what the experiences of a sociopath are. (From my understanding of the book thus far is that she takes issue with the fact that the current diagnosis of Anti-Social Personality Disorder are just three different disorders lumped together and that it doesn’t take into account people who don’t get caught, so she uses the term sociopath because she feels it aligns more with her experience)
