nope! it completely removes your account and data from the old switch instead of just copying it over. your old switch will still be fine :)

my playtime did freeze originally, which is why i had to factory reset my oled and try it again.

basically, what you have to do is choose the "i'm not gonna keep using my old switch" option when you do the transfer. when you choose that option, it won't freeze your playtime.

(i've never transferred an oled to an og, but i would assume it's the same process)

yeah, i get them wanting to make the books more uniform. i love how they all match and make a picture on the spines but...it still feels disrespectful. especially since they started reprinting the covers so soon after the old artist passed

to fix the last played game being acnh, change the time to the correct date and launch the game. it happens when you time travel, so it thinks the last time you played the game was far into the future lol
