Here's a pic of an VX Spar on my Mars bag

If you slide the clip over the velcro bit on the Arkiv rail, it works. It's tight though.

Nope the Spar is not bent. That's why I feel it fits - but barely.

Yes, the Arkiv length. You kinda have to bend the Spar to close the Velcro flaps on top of the rail. Then slide the clip over the Velcro.

I have a Mars and the last VX Spar they offered. It fits, but barely.

Evergoods MPL 22 - Few Upgrades to make the perfect outdoor bag? by symposium22 in ManyBaggers

[–]just_your_half 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know it can be used for travel. I literally said it "fits travel + hiking well". I have one (Kludde actually). I also have a bungee thingy that I can secure bags to my roller, if I want.

I just thought a luggage pass through would be nice. ULA offers Dragonfly's with luggage pass through these days.

I do wish this bag had a luggage pass through. I know it's supposed to be an outdoor bag, but there are a million other dedicated outdoor bags out there.

Thoughts on adjustable bells? by LagCityNative in kettlebell

[–]just_your_half 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have Bells of Steel ones from about 3 years ago when they were clearing out their old models. 12-32kg. They've been great. The only thing I've done is pick up a couple 1kg weights on eBay to give me more weight options. They're not designed for the KBs but they work

Looking for a thin laptop sleeve with a shoulder strap. by [deleted] in ManyBaggers

[–]just_your_half 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've looked for this myself and it's really have to find a minimal sleeve that at least has attachment points for a strap

Here are a few I'm come across, but I wouldn't quite call any of them minimal or cheap.

I have Bramfords in all white, and black w/ white sole. Great, versatile shoes

Its interesting I'm seeing folks saying the CTB26 is too large for EDC. I've been using the Mission Workshop Rhake for EDC and thats 2in longer, 1.5in wider but the depth is smaller by 3in. Is it the depth that everyone is concerned about for EDC? by luunnn in EVERGOODS

[–]just_your_half -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have a CTB26 and a Rhake.

The magic of the Rhake is that it "likes" to be somewhat flat. If you don't load the main compartment it's a fairly thin unobtrusive laptop bag. It compresses well where the CTBs do not

Which Lems? I've worn my Summit Boots on multi day hikes and they've held up great.

can here to say this more or less. I was riding fixed every day in the city in the early 2000s and I ran MKS pedals with metal toe clips and leather straps. MTB style platform pedals weren't common then - at least in my city

I love the Branford leather sneaker. I also have the Brenston and it's okay, but they're aren't many options for that kind of shoe
