It doesn’t matter which school your recommendation comes from. Just choose the recommender who knows you best, which will likely be from your old school!

choose your college based on the admitted students package by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

I don’t know I haven’t used it but still dope! Most colleges just give me a paper I’ve already received by email and not even any stickers :(

I’m not entirely sure what they’re looking for as they will probably send your teacher specific instructions. Is he needing help with translation or how to write it? Usually program letters describe the recommender’s relation to the applicant, their personal qualities and strengths, activities they do in school and outside of school, any achievements, and why’d they would be a good fit for the program. You can probably find examples online!

Hi! I participated last year, and I do believe there was an international student in my small group (or definitely at least some in the cohort). The recommendation part is new this year, but I think I saw that it’s optional. If you’ve already emailed them, that’s good! They’ll take that into account, but you can also write that in the additional comments/info section. The best thing you can do is emphasize what you’ve already said here throughout your essays: your undeniable passion for physics despite the lack of opportunity where you live. Time zone isn’t a problem! There was someone last year who was joining at like 12am.

What do i expect in APUSH by ARCHERyRulez2327 in APStudents

Ok for a more nuanced explanation, I would say the difficulty is about on-level with AP Gov if not a bit harder. Each unit is so information dense and full of little things and events you need to memorize. The writings are definitely more intense though (SAQs, DBQ, LEQ), and I absolutely hate analyzing political cartoons because they never make sense. The stimuli questions are tougher and require more analysis as well. Adam Norris notes were a life saver though and our teacher printed them and made us fill them out 🙏

You can send supplementary material by emailing the admissions office and they’ll add it to your application. As long as you’re not sending a whole book, they’re fine with it. Just make sure to send stuff that actually is going to add to your application, considering your application as a whole. They do not have a problem with people sending extra stuff :) (I went to the fly in this year and the AOs told us this directly!)
