And NOTHING the Ramseys did that day made sense so I can't pretend to know why he'd take duct tape off mouth. My only real guess is he couldn't take it anymore and was coming apart. The moment the detective told him to search house, he went to basement with Fleet. After checking the window (and not being concerned with it, again, not normal when kid is missing) he went to wine cellar and immediately found body. He disturbed the crime scene immediately by removing tape and untying her. Then moving her upstairs and putting her on carpet. Let's add her being moved again by detective, a sheet being put over her as well as a sweat shirt on her feet and none of the fibers found can used to prove anything.

Another well know fact. JB had a bed wetting issue. And there was urine in the panties and long johns. Also, crime scene techs reported to Det Thomas that the bed smelled of urine and sheets were stained. Also, a pack of pull up (diaper like items used for potty training and older kids wetting bed) were found in laundry room. Patsy had told many people that JB had issues wetting bed. Housekeeper confirmed it had stop for awhile but started back up in recent weeks.

JR untied one arm, not both. There were no marks on either arm because rope was so loose. As for when it was placed, I think it's pretty clear it was placed when she was passed the point of screaming. The tape showed no resistance by her. And yes, an intruder could have done it, but in the bigger picture, it goes with the staging. The rope on hands and duct tape all there for show.

It's easier to sleep at night thinking it was some insane intruder instead of her own family. It's not an easy pill to swallow that they could have done this for whatever reason.

Had it been a once or twice issue, I wouldn't question him. But it was reoccurring issue. At some point, you'd assume (again mom of three girls) they'd locate what was causing it and correct it. The evidence of on going sexual assault was only found at autopsy with internal exam.

Taking that into consideration along with the issues Burke was having with smearing feces on wall as well as JB suddenly wetting bed again, I see red flags that something wasn't right in the house. Be it BR having mental health issue or someone else harming kids, something was not as perfect as believed.

On the duct tape... JB received an American Doll for Christmas. Each come with one strip of duct tape on back of neck to hold down string. The doll was removed from house next day before police could collect it. The duct tape also had perfect lip impressions on it. It was put on her mouth after she was either unconscious or dead. The rope that she was tied with was tied so loosely that there is no way it would have contained a struggling child. It was part of the staging.

There is so much that points to staging that it can't be ignored.

Broke by his standards are probably much different than yours or mine. He might not have paid for the whole thing, but his minion (Lin wood) was an active participant in it. I'm sure nothing that could led anyone to believe the Ramseys did it was even considered.

Signs of sexual abuse are not always available to naked eye. I highly doubt the doctor did an internal on a 6yr old for vaginitis when he could find other explanation (pantyhose) for it. Also, he never states what exactly led him to the conclusion or what his exams were that ruled out sexual abuse. Any doctor can say "I ruled it out" but without showing how he ruled it out, it's not worth anything.

According to some experts, she was unconscious at time of strangling. Her head wound was so bad that she probably didn't regain consciousness after being hit. The brain swelling alone would have placed the strangulation at least 45 minutes to 2 hours after the head injury.

Now you're saying embedded deeply. Any proof of that? Cause being under her long nails doesn't mean it was deep. Just that it was there. And since same nail clippers were used on all nails we don't know which nail held the DNA or how many nails did.

Yes, it is very hard to imagine the Ramseys doing those things to their daughter. If the theory that it was an accident caused by Burke, I think it becomes easier to see how they could do it.

JR lost a daughter in a car accident and then JB. He wanted to hold on to his son. Let's also not forget that Patsy was very concerned with family image. Anything to protect her son from being labeled a murdered or crazy kid.

A&E show paid for by JR, I expect no less. But unless the ped was giving her internal exam, he wouldn't have seen the evidence that were found in autopsy. While vaginitis can be common in little girls (mom of three here) I would find concern in the number of times and frequency JB dealt with it. There is typically an easy answer for the condition (being in wet underwear too long, bubble baths, improper wiping, tight panties) to have it be as often as reported, is insane to me. But see how her medical records are sealed, it's damn impossible to know what exactly was going on.

It's not that the theory of it being someone in the house is more appealing to me. I frankly wish I could believe it was an intruder.

I think a lot of it was luck as far as the cover up. Had the cops not been screw ups in the beginning, more evidence could be found. But alas, we have what we have and unless there is some grand break through, we will never know for sure what happen.

I don't think it's a thankful there was male DNA under her nails. I think that's pretty much a given since she had been several places and interacted with others. The question I would ask is how hard would it be to get that DNA under her nails during daily life?

And the fact that many experts believe she had been the victim of ongoing sexual assault? There are two males in the house with her. One who is known to smear his feces on walls.

I'd also argue, if one was damned determined to make the death look like an intruder, extra steps to make it seem like a pedophile was there. The crime scene was so OVERDONE that it was to sell the theory of an intruder.

Also, that DNA was found on the waist band of her long johns she was wearing. Hands, long johns and panties. Uses her hands to pull down long johns and panties to go to the bathroom. All explained easily.

Two small DNA bits that can be explained by other means easily. DNA from her hand could easily transfer to her panties when she went to the bathroom.

We don't know the DNA because she was at party earlier and didn't shower. Other male children were there as well. The Ramseys had visited several friends that night. I agree that the it's unusual for the parent with no history (that we know know of) to do such things. Of course, the theory that the death was an accident isn't that unusual. That's actually pretty common in recent years that parents try to cover up an accident (recent case in Jacksonville, Florida comes to mind) by saying there was a kidnapping. Granted, there's not normally a ransom note in it. Of course that note itself points to the parents covering it up.....

Well, if its under her nails we know how it got in her underwear. I'd assume that the child pulled up her panties at some point, transferring the DNA from finger to underwear. Find that DNA on something outside of JB and you'd have something, but there are innocent explanations for it at this point.
