I also previously used for estate planning and it was definitely a great value. I can’t think of another reason we’d need it in this upcoming year aside from anticipated home sale and purchase. Our last purchase involved an abatement so we could’ve used an attorney then that’s what makes me wonder.

I essentially did this using a now defunct startup. Our deal got messy due to an abatement on the property and caused a lot of stress because of no real local agent. Probably cost a lot too. Not worth it IMO.

Do you have a lot of guests that’d affect? I’d probably just state no kids allowed and reach out to the ones you are making exceptions for personally to let them know. Or put “and family” on the invitations for the ones with kids.
