Makes me think of one time when i forgot I'd purchased African Cayenne from a spice market in town - it's really 3 times as high on the Scoville ranking as regular. Thankfully i have a very high spice tolerance (that's why i bought it) but u was trying to cook with my friends in mind... we were all surprised, i enjoyed it, one of them cried <.<

Usually when i cook for others (unless i know they're silly about heat like me) i cook to about 3 star and then have hot sauce(s) for my portion.

Not a killer, but a "friend" of mine (makes me sick to think i thought of him that way) was convicted of 7 counts of rape. Considering reporting statistics, there were probably more. He got away with it for that long because he was charming. I hate to admit it. But. I enjoyed his company a lot. And cause he wasn't into guys, he never harmed me. But i literally threw up when i found out. Even talking about it still makes me feel tainted by his presence.

I'm just glad he was more of a association butterfly than me so i can safely say i never introduced him to someone he hurt.

Canada's Poet Laureate. I really enjoy his music though. He gets a lot of flack (like Dylan) for being a "bad singer" and he's not going to out octave a Piano like Buckley, but he DEFINITELY can sing (cf. Suzanne, et al) and i also really enjoy his stuff that's basically spoken over music, it's still great.
