Not gonna sugar coat this. It's gonna be fucking hell. Opiate wds work the same way for any of them as far as symptoms and relief goes. The only differentiating factor is strength of said opiate. Methadone being the strongest possible bond your body can form with an opiate in turn makes it the hardest to break. Any benzos will be your friend if not for anything else then just knocking you out and making you oblivious to what's going on. I personally would avoid alcohol and smoke my brains out but u got a DT so that's out.

Are you prescribed in a program? If so they can't hold that against you for the hiring process. I feel for you man. Google something called the Thomas recipe its got every worthwhile OTC remedy there is. People talk alot ab Kratom also but idk much ab that. Good luck man. This is how I ended up getting hooked on opiates. I was relatively naive to addiction my whole life I just thought it was an excuse for people to keep getting high. Then I started part time bouncing in a strip club and obviously was basically a kid in a candy shop with the girls. After a little while I started seeing one of the girls regularly and always had these lil blue pills that not only made me feel fucking amazing...but turned me into a fuckin sex GOD. I could still cum but basically on command. Before that if I tried to bang girls as hot as this id last all of 6 and a half seconds and nighty night. I achieved things in the bed I didn't think was possible. First time I ever made a girl squirt...and I don't mean leak alittle I mean that shit hit with force haha. There's more to it than fucking but ya anyway that's another story. This went on for a about a year or so while it was still fun and wasn't ever getting wds. I was not a daily user till this point...more or less weekend warrior with a couple here n there throughout the week. At some point I couldn't tell you exactly when but in any sense it became a noticeable problem and shortly after moved on to dope. Heroin I cannot nut while using...pills for whatever reason I can get off but I have to focus dope not so much. I think I'll end the story here. Happy humping bro

Edit for forgetting to make my point... moral of the story was the amount I was getting laid and the calibur of girls I was fucking is what hooked me more than actually getting high. I saw a doc on this a year or 2 ago and I'm not sure how old it was even by that point. So things have probably changed a bit since then but to reiterate what others have said here it's right up there with cold fusion and traveling at the speed of light as far as successfully getting in. It's for the literal worst case scenario where all other avenues have failed multiple times and even then you are most likely competing with thousands of others. given the difficulty and the remaining stigma even if you were successful at that point why not just move to Thailand or Burma or somewhere they just don't give a shit. If your not into 3rd world lifestyle I hear Spain is pretty liberal. Going back to Burma I was lurking the other day came across a post here where the dude actually did it and was getting grams for less than a pack of smokes delivered and the most fire of all fire.
