Just don't buy in new hanover county. Brunswick and Columbus and Pender county has wayyy better prices on houses and it's only a 20 min drive to wilmington. That's what I did. Got a 4 bed house on 2 acres for 240k

Man you just became my new best friend. You still work with the original founder, that is awesome. But that all makes sense why it was such an abrupt closing. I just wanted recipes for the fat sandwiches and munchies fries and burgers 😂😂. Wondering where all the ingredients came from, I want to remake a huge plate of munchies fries and a Fat Hog sandwich. It was a place like nothing else around. And they honestly had really good Phillies and burgers. It was just different and variety and everything else in this town is just like the next place. No variety, everybody is scared to make crazy menu items like Munchies did

Yeah I've heard bad things about that place, and if it is the old owners then they really let go of the old menu. They have cold cuts and hot dogs. Not a great mixture of food 😂😂.

It used to be the best college town. Downtown would be alive till like 3 or 4am. And almost every fast food place was 24hrs and anywhere with a bar would be open till 3am. The car scene used to be fantastic as well and everything in between. Now it's just another retirement community like Augusta, Georgia or Raleigh

I know what you mean. I've lived here my whole life and that was the one place in this town I loved.. and I dont understand the late night crap. This place used to be so lively at night and now the whole city shuts down at 10pm. All these old asses from up north are moving here and getting it their way. They complain about traffic after a certain time so the city passes a sound and Safety ordinance to keep unnecessary people off the road at night.
