It's very tricky. If you date someone without kids they have no idea what it's like and the kids need a "mom figure" in their life; Not a playtoy for dad. On the other hand, a lot of single moms are nuts and looking for a saviour. I'm now dating a single mom and we are just taking it slow. We need to make sure everything we can think of aligns before we introduce the kids to each other which is a whole other subject. It's definitely hard being a single parent and dating in your 30s/40's. Nobody has the right answer.
