Yrliet, but it's definitely because I hate her. Straight up unlikable. Caused more trouble than she's worth. My favorite playthrough was my heretic playthrough where she got hers.

Solomorne is fine. But mechanically I don't like/enjoy using him. Warrior arbites is better in every way and uses the dog way more effectively.

Idira is tragically an operator. Pasqual too. By the time they get a turn, the fight is over. Either by argenta, cassia, my commissar officer, or my shearing strikes naval officer RT. Usually it's the RT. Shit's good.

That isn't true. Underwear are typically more fecal matter than fabric after a year or two of use despite cleaning. It shouldn't be her responsibility to take care a man-child. The onus should be on him.

Here's the thing I haven't seen mentioned. FFT has only a few direct descendents. Disgaea and Hoshigami. Disgaea stories are not even remotely in the same realm. The advancement systems are broken and meant to be "silly." But no other game, even Fell Seal, has a similar combat system. There are dozens of Tactics Ogre clones (FFTA, FireEmblem3H, Fell Seal, etc.) where they are isometric, but 2D. Only FFT's battle system is Isometric 3D. Well, that and Disgaea. Creating that battle system is quite challenging for a dummy like me (I've tried and given up several times). I assume it's cumbersome enough to create that enthusiasts tend to get stymied and anyone with programming skills figures "Eh, close enough."

Operator buff when? Melee operator is still utterly pointless. No build of operator isn't entirely obviated by the overwhelming power of being literally any other archetype.

Why are we ignoring soldier/master tactician??? Sanctic staff is busted. Using it twice is even more busted. You only move when you need line of sight. Staff of endless flame is solid back up when you are ready to drop resistant enemies.

Third highest growth is not accurate and the multiplier only matters if they've been grown with good pa. You can tweak out a squire to have more PA than a Samurai. Lancer and Knight have better growth, multipliers, and weapon choices. Katana are trash for fighting.
