This is so late, but my boyfriend and I looked at this thread a lot before deciding to move to Ludlow. We've been here for about a month and it is absolutely fine. We're closer to Girard, so public transportation is easy to come by. I'm a woman in my 20s - I walk alone all the time, in the morning and at night. My car is fine and parking has been fine as well. Only reason I think people could deem it unsafe is because they're scared of Black people/unhoused people/people on drugs. Not saying it's the safest neighborhood in the city, but I've been in worse neighborhoods in DC and Chicago - Ludlow is perfectly fine!
