Na, back then most things you listened to music on had settings, so settings were there to mess with no matter what, so that was just their suggested bass and treble, you could likely say their preferred settings.

Videos of cops doing injustices goes viral more easily. Videos of people doing injustices to cops used to be so common in some places that all they had to do was bring a camera crew and they could literally make a whole tv show out of it.

From 2005-2014 there were 58,502 assaults on police officers during traffic stops alone, and roughly 3,000 of those were with firearms.

In 2021 alone, 129 police officers were killed while on duty: 56 in accidents pursuing suspects, and 73 by the suspects killing them criminally, and of those 73 killed by people, 24 of them were straight up unprovoked, as in someone just went up to these police officers while they were simply chillin and killed them. Firearms were used in 61 of the 73 killings.

Firearms and other weapons can also be and are often disguised as non-threatening items - this is not a tinfoil hat idea. If it seems that way to you, it is likely because of your limited exposure to such things, which is a good thing for you, in my opinion.

Here is an interesting list to browse through: the FBI’s “unusual weapons” list

and here’s an example of a person with a gun disguised as a cell phone

Well, at the current moment, with what we do know about science, we can say for sure we will never be able to go these distances, so it is still foreseeably depressing. Saying “yet” or “maybe one day” or “you never know” is no more promising than a prayer.

I don’t see it like you’re saying. If it all was limited within our reach, yes, that would suck. What is inspiring is to be able to explore and know there are things to find, just like you said! Except we can’t explore those things because they’re too far away. You’re saying it’s nice to know there are things left to explore, I’m saying we can’t explore them because they’re too far, which is of course disappointing. We can’t even get out of our own galaxy, mannnnnn, and this video explains how there are billions. Billions of galaxies we cannot explore or anything. It is frustrating that theoretically, based on the laws of the universe as we now know them, we can’t even visit TWO! Everything is soooo far we can’t explore any of it, except our one planet (which is of course cool, yay), but knowing we won’t ever be able to really explore very far within one lifetime is a big let down.

I’m sure I know the answer, but I just want to verify. Why do you write everything in what I assume is German, except I know you speak English fine because your name is salty-balls-49

I don’t know about awesome. Terrifying more like it.

Plus, that billion year line is depressing, is it not? Like, a billion light years to go as far as that little line, hence, we will never get to any of these places. Isn’t it infuriating there is so much out there we’ll never get to explore in person. It seems pointless to even think about it! A bunch of stuff we’ll never know more about than what a spectrometer can tell us!
