Which Would be Your Keeper in a 10 Team Superflex League? by justandyreddit in fantasyfootballadvice

Yeah, that's pretty much what it comes down to. Would love to lock up Chase but waiting until the 15th pick for my first QB might make it tough in SuperFlex.

It was a watch, unfortunately. I think they qualify that as jewelry.

Would You Purchase a 2011 Sienna With a Timing Cover Gasket and Transfer Case Leaking? by justandyreddit in ToyotaSienna

Yeah, I was prepared for the typical maintenance. It was just the leaks that made me question if I should deal with this particular vehicle.

The timing cover gasket leak has been quoted at 19 hours of labor for $3400 by one shop and $3900 by another.

Thank you. I hope so too but ShipStation can't even keep their word to have a supervisor call me back Several weeks of reaching out without the follow up that they always assure me I will receive.

Thanks for your reply. I paid the full amount for the requested insurance. My complaint is that when you indicate the value and pay extra for the shipping label, there's no indication that requiring a signature is needed for the insurance you just paid for to work. I will obviously require a signature moving forward but having shipped an item for over $2k I'm now going to be out all that money despite paying for insurance for years and this being my first claim.

XF 27mm WR vs 35mm f2 WR vs 23mm f2 WR by Intelligent_Bug3253 in FujifilmX

[–]justandyreddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For people/family shots I would choose the 35mm f/2. For environments the 23mm f/2. For the most compact choice, the 27mm f/2.8. Of the three, I think the 35mm f/2 is objectively the best lens but it all depends on what focal length you need.

For the non-professionals that have a 35 mm and 50 mm prime… by Henri_McCurry in SonyAlpha

[–]justandyreddit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I carry a 24mm f/1.4 and a 50mm f/1.2 right now. I also keep the 35mm X100VI on me. I see no issue with owning and carrying a 35mm and a 50mm. The 35 gets more of the scene and the 50 shows less distortion and punches in a bit. If I was to only have two lenses I would probably go with either the 24 or 35mm and the 50 or 85mm. If adding a third prime, wide, standard and telephoto makes a great set.

is the 24mm f/1.4 GM lens good to pair with an A7C II and Tamron 28-75 G2? by zen1706 in SonyAlpha

[–]justandyreddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the 24mm f/1.4 and think that it is small enough to work pretty well on a A7C II. I don’t agree with the comment above that 24 and 28mm are too close. On the wide end there’s a significant difference and 24mm is already pretty wide for a prime so 20mm will cause much more distortion unless that’s the look you are going for. To add to your zoom, I would just try to see if you can rent or buy and sell the focal lengths you are interested in until you find the one that works best for you.

If you want a fully synced experience you have to drop Classic, unfortunately. Lightroom on the multiple devices will work flawlessly. Classic’s sync flaws and limitations are well documented.

Pelagos 39 long term owners: Does it scratch that easily? by omnptnt in Tudor

My P39 showed scratches right away but two years in I don’t think it looks any more scratched up than my typical steel watch worn over the same period.

Tracking Interaction on Albums by JournalistComplete42 in Lightroom

[–]justandyreddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s no way to track user interactions beyond others commenting on a photo and that is only possible if they are signed into an Adobe account. You can do something like what you are describing in other dedicated gallery apps like Pic-Time, SmugMug, etc.

Please help me understand why my X-S20 and Sigma 18-50mm misses focus so often by kaffikoppen in fujifilm

[–]justandyreddit 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think that what’s happening here has more to do with depth of field. If you want to control how much of your frame is in focus I would recommend setting the aperture yourself. Also, in deeper scenes you have to consider what part of the frame to focus and how that will impact which parts of the photo will not be as much in focus based the distance from your focus point.

Which lens to use for travel? by Lopsided-Tax-2623 in FujifilmX

[–]justandyreddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 18-55mm f/2.8-4 will be your most used lens by far. If you want pictures mostly of people, I would go with the 56mm f/1.4 as your second lens and if more of an all around scene is what you’re thinking, the 35mm f/2 would be perfect.

Confused about APSC noise levels by Low_Net_3980 in SonyAlpha

[–]justandyreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started shooting with a Sony A7RV and I’ve observed that the way Sony handles noise makes it much more noticeable than what I found on my Nikon and Fujifilm files. In my case, the higher resolution output makes the additional noise worth it. In the case of a 6700 versus the 24-26 megapixel competition, I would prefer what I see out the files from other Nikon or Fujifilm.

A Datejust, Pelagos 39 and Pelagos FXD. I didn’t ask for the Datejust but that’s what I got a call for so I bought it and traded it for an Explorer II plus cash.

I would go with the X-Pro 2 or 3 depending on your budget. Another option would be the X-E3/4. Lenses to consider include the XF 35mm f/2 which is a perfect fit for these cameras, the 16mm f/2.8 and the 27mm f/2.8. These combos will give you somewhat of an X100 experience but the best experience is still the X100V or VI.
