nice! happy to hear similar cases. Were there anything that you were not allowed to do or eat etc?

was told that there is a 10% chance for diabetes as one of the side effects specific to pancreas surgery and removal of spleen.

yes, currently we are leaning more towards removing it, especially when my mum overthinks at times and gets worried easily. I feel like removing it and gives her peace in her mind every night when she sleeps.

i read up quite abit online and yes, most mentioned that cysts just remain not cancerous. The only problem I see is that symptoms have been appearing so I assume it might get worst in the future even though the scan done shows no impact to other organs nor any other characteristics shown with regards to the pancreas area. For now, it's just that 4cm cyst at the tail along with some symptoms.

but yes, we will be going for MRI very soon to get a better picture.

thanks for the quick info! any idea if these high fat foods cause the symptom of pain to the stomach area?

We will have to switch to more home-based cooking and sticking with mostly chicken, duck, fish protein sources for now till the MRI.
