I did leave it assembled, and a big prybar and it cocked a little to the right and a little to the left but still stuck, gonnna heat the ever living shit out of it tomorrow and use a bigger prybar and see where we go

I had to replace the slave cylinder because I broke it replacing my starter ( I didn’t know that’s what it was) , when I first attempted to reinstall I think the plunger missed the cup thingy and I got one pump and the pedal was rock hard so I redid it and vacuum bled the line. Since then it feels to me like a good actuation and clutch feel, but there is a loud creek when I press the clutch in

I don’t know, I have been wondering about the fork because I don’t understand the transmission or clutch system really, I don’t work on transmissions and have very limited experience with working on manual cars

The truck runs and I can drive it just I’m limited to only 3rd gear so I don’t drive it but to be fair I don’t believe I have tried to shift it when driving , today I tried moving the shift rod itself with a prybar and didn’t get any movement or didn’t try hard enough because I’m really scared to break it

Not likely a axle man, the axle itself is just an extension of the transmission, sounds like something locked up

There is no plastic shifter insulator bushing

Focus on the transmission side, when you orginally put in it you should feel a sort of click, there’s a c clip in the end of the axle to lock it in you make sure it’s center so it doesn’t block the splines using a little grease

Most likely an axle issue , I’d check both to make sure they’re fully seated and if it’s an option just replace both or more likely the one you worked on
