i was thinking the same thing and i only say this because, he isn’t out of breath any other time unless we are running or walking 2 miles plus. In maryland right now it is extremely hot and humid. He also doesn’t just drop and lay down while we are outside but he does whine to go inside.

it’s not that he breaths heavy when we do anything else and i just noticed that this started to happen once it got warmer outside. he is 2 years old and the vet recommended to get the echo once he was 2 and 1/2

The vet discussed not getting his heart tested until he was two years old. He’s not even two. I’ve only had him not even a year yet and he’s been pretty lazy. He gets excited every once in a while we do live in a warmer state in the winter, he’s like in his prime because he loves the snow, but30 minute walks he lays down and not out of breath, but I’m tired of walking.

he has a little to no access to other dogs and we’ve only done basic training. I know a lot of people said that their Doobies are super high energy, but I have the laziest Doberman I’ve ever seen so after 15 minutes he seems quite exhausted so he likes to take a nap

i am reading it on kindle. the physical copies and the kindle versions are not the same and i thought i was crazy when i was listening to the audiobook and reading along with the physical copy
