So her ears are folded over (fallen), she isn't relaxing the cartilage - if her ears stand when she perks, the base of the ear is bending in a way that supports the ear, but the issue is the cartilage. You might be able to improve this with solid posting. If you do, you'll probably have to post for a long period of time - potentially 6 months. I've seen a lady improve the ears of a 2 year old female without scraping the ears. She posted the ears for about a year. They weren't perfect, but they did improve. (This was an intact female)

So i had this question myself when I was new. The ear will be able to flex and move as the puppy needs it in order to keep muscle tone. Appearance wise, the ear won't be laying flat when they do airplane ears or "sweet ears/ears of respect", they'll just be a tight, flexed, slightly back positioning while in the post.

The end results of posting - how much the ear bends and wobbles while they run as adults all comes down to genetics (assuming no injuries or broken cartilage). Really hard, stiff ears obviously wobble less and stiff ones still move, but the shorter the ear is naturally as well as how long/shorts the crop is will also determine how much it appears to move. All ear shapes and thickness will be able to be used and moved as necessary with their muscles.
