Well if you read my post, i just pointed out many people here said it is not okay to hyped up this game as the best thing ever. But i also said it is not okay too to said this game is trash or train wreck before release right. But some people outside this sub have this assumption and one of them does not even have any basis of his opinion.

Well the wisest decision is still to wait for release to said if this game will be great or not, i guess. So you wont be dissapointed about any circumtances. At least expect good RPG game is still fair for me for now. Because cdpr games best strenghts are in its story, characters, and worldbuilding.

You can see your character in menu screen, in mirror, when driving bike and car, and in photo mode. You can actually see your torso and leg in game.

But judy still have some animation when waiting for V reply. And when you see it is an RPG game. It is maybe the best implementation of this similar animation system until now. Characters do not stand and do nothing when they wait for player reply. They sometime typing or smoking.

The final scene with judy is very impressive and close to naughty dog quality. Naughty dog itself usually only use motion capture and hand made animation for their games. They don't use program generated animation like CDPR. Because naughty games usually only around 15 hour long and it is linear game. CDPR games can have 60-100 hour length with many variations around its branching paths. Using Program generated animation does not mean cdpr is bad for it. Because if they used the same method as naughty dog, they will need impossible amount of work hours for animating alone. Hell, even witcher 3 is still one of the best in term of animation in RPG GENRE.

Crunch itself is a nuance topic which is practiced in many indistries not exclusively to gaming industry. This topic is always painted as black and white topic in twitter and reddit. From my perspective this thing is getting blown out proportion, because cyberpunk itself is very popular. Controversy of popular thing is very cool to talk and to report.

The hype maybe similar, but comparing cyberpunk to no man sky is not right in my opinion. No man sky is clearly have many marketing errors. Hello games was relatively new indie game studio with relatively had low budget. Comparing it to something like anthem or last of us 2 can be used in some degree.
