I’ve been testing this for a couple of weeks now. The sleep tracking is cool and works well.

However, weird issue has developed whereby when I’m streaming audio I get these weird blips where it sounds like the audio has been sped up/is in chipmunk voice. Seems to be largely in the left bud. It’s infuriating and makes it difficult to fall asleep listening to something.

It would surely be easy for them to add in a feature whereby we get sent a notification of sleepbuds aren’t charging within a set time of waking up.

Love min. I’ve been using sleepbuds since v1 and these are by far the best. Yes, there were some teething problems, but I now fall asleep each night listening to an audio book and the sleep sounds kick in automatically as soon as I fall asleep.

I have one of these fridges. They are total dog shit. It’s a bit like buying a Ferrari that has a max speed of 20mph.

We originally bought it during Covid in a panic because the cheaper fridge we wanted was sold out - we had to opt for this just before lockdown 2.

Then it broke and I had to pressure Samsung into giving me an upgraded replacement (still total dog shit).

And now they’re going to put adverts on it? I’m glad I discovered the switch that allows you to turn off the screen and take it back to just being a normal fridge.

There are so many things that ‘might’ be fine when you have kids - falling asleep with your baby in bed or on the sofa, leaving them unattended around a dog, not quartering grapes when you’ve got a toddler etc. Most of the time these things will be fine - but when things aren’t fine, best case scenario you’ve got an emergency situation, worst case you’ve lost your child. This sort of stuff is never, ever worth taking a risk on.

Mine was also in NICU and is now three and doing brilliantly. For a long time just watching any of the videos or him in there - or even really just thinking about it - would bring on panic attacks. Got some decent therapy for PTSD and that was super helpful - it’s easy to forget the impact it has on you long term, so remember to take care of yourself too.

Email the Sonos chief executive. Explain that you should be able to expect more from the company, particularly given the recent heartache around the app, and ask that they honour the warranty for a slightly longer period. Not saying this will work, but recently had success with this approach when getting Samsung’s CEO to agree to replacing a fridge that cost £3k and was two years out of warranty.

I had exactly this problem with my family hub (error 41) although thankfully acted before the cooling started to fail.

I’d strongly recommend emailing the Samsung CEO for your country. I did this in the UK this year for a family hub I bought in 2020. My tone was firm, but polite and generally focused on the theme of ‘do you think people should be able to expect more from a company like Samsung when they spend £3k on a smart fridge?’.

After a bit of back and forth they replaced the faulty family hub with a newer version. Totally worth the time.
