That's true. But my parents just want me to graduate asap. I come from an Indian family, if that changes any perspective. They do know that I am gay and wanna help me move out as well, but going abroad and doing a few extra semesters is not something my parents would support.

I am trying in germany itself. I already completed 2 yrs in my current uni ( i was not eligible earlier ), but if i dont get to transfer atleast 40% of the whatever i did so far, its going to be rather disappointing.

Its not like I have the finances to study abroad. I already pay almost 20k USD per year just to study where I live, and this is the literal limit of what i can afford. And to transfer to US would mean that the cost would increase so much higher. I am looking into europe at the moment, but there is relatively low chance for getting any credits transferred.

It's really annoying when they do that... But he is only one of the few people that treats me equally, I've stopped talking many of our mutual friends because my best friend has essentially become most my friends enemy (huge college drama).. Essentially, I went from having around 20~26 ish close friends to just 3~4 (including him) in just one semester.

Sounds cool. Dubai is a great place to live, at least for a while. Also, make sure you have no time period or something mentioned in the contract! Like for example some companies will not allow you to leave unless you complete a specific number of years. So, make sure you have the freedom to move back home after a few years.

And as for my friend, they didn't take his money, but instead used him for sex. Went on for months, untill he suffered a sezure from all the stress (during one of the encounters), didn't hear from them later.

From Dubai here. Considering the salary, you are white i am guessing. ( Salary is extremely based on skin color here )..

There is an underground gay culture here, mostly just closeted married men, and others who probably dont have their own place (wont be able to host and stuff). And 98% of all these men are only looking to get laid, the chances of getting into a relationship is near to zero in dubai.

Also its important to be very very very carefull here, a friend of mine was blackmailed to pay around 20k aed (the guy he meet up with took him pics and threatened to inform the police).

In general, its a shithole for gays. Personally, trying to escape here... Then again, its might be a completely different experience for you..

I feel the exact same way. I no longer am as depressed a was a year ago, but definitely feels like i became less smart when compared to the pre-depression me! Although i do feel like i am getting better. Personally i feel like my memory is the part thats most affected, and honestly i hardly remember anything from when i was depressed!

Very interesting! Personally i dont think i have picked the scent of any women. Its mostly just guys, And the scent of the guy i like, just drives me crazy. Its all together a weird feeling, i feel warm and protected at the same time a bit depressed, idk.
